THE STORY

Addressing the obvious, the similarity between this watch and the Constellation model is undeniable. Back in the 1990s, brands were mimicking what the Swiss were offering, this now-defunct brand ordered a batch of 100 pieces modeled after the Constellation but then went out of business, this batch of 100 completed watches had since then sat in the warehouse for the last 30+ years until I discovered them.   

And what's even better? They came in pairs!! His and hers, or couple's watches were hugely popular back then, every brand was doing it. I feel like there are not enough brands that are making a true women's' watch these days, so it's a no brainer for me to acquire these new old stock watches in both men and women's sizes.  

Normally I will made a fresh dial design for a new model, but for this watch, I choose to keep everything as it was originally produced. The gold color on the case and dial has faded a bit but in my opinion, gives the perfect aged touch to the watch.

*the cases, hands, dials along with other parts of the watch were produced more than 30 years ago, even though they were not used previously, it is inevitable to have few minor scratches and signs of patina on the watch.
